Dominick’s Italian Gourmet Deli, located in the heart of midtown Manhattan, has been in business for over fifty years. It specializes in all types of gourmet sandwiches, wraps, panini and hot dishes, all home cooked under the direction of Angelo Amato, great-grandson of the late Dominick.
Angelo takes pride in his family reputation, and is proud to continue in its footsteps. He specializes in home cooking with the finest ingredients for your luncheons and parties, big or small. Angelo and his staff are there to satisfy.
He also delivers a mouth watering three or six foot hero that cannot be found anywhere other than Dominick’s.
Casa Lingo—Fresh mozzarella, slices of ripe tomatoes and fresh basil served on fresh Semolina hero or bread of your choice
Caprese Foccacia—With fresh mozzarella, vine ripe tomatoes, fresh basil, olive oil and arugula, on a tomato foccacia
Prosciutto Foccacia—Imported prosciutto, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and balsamic vinaigrette dresing
Grilled Chicken Dominick’s Way Sandwich—Grilled chicken, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, basil and balsamic vinaigrette dressing
Grilled Chicken alla Broccoli Rabe Sandwich—Grilled chicken with fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, grated parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil
Slow, slow, slow, but.... worth the wait in quality of cold cuts, side dishes and breakfast plates. The potatoes served with the breakfasts alone are worth the wait for them. The prices are also reasonable for what you get.

Good is okay but delivery is insanely long. The first time I ordered it took an hour and ah half, which they blamed on the marathon making it difficult for deliveries- fair enough. Gave them a try again at 145 on a Saturday and over an hour later, still no delivery.

Good food, but delivery takes forever!! Order said 30-45 mins. Actual wait time 2 hours. Avoid.

I have ordered from here about 10 times....while it takes 90 minutes to actually get the food delivered, the food is excellent and worth the wait

Hour and Half for a delivery of sandwich and soup (luke warm at best).

After 1 hour they still hadn't sent the food out. I called and she said they were about to send it. I chose the place because I live super close, so I figured it would arrive soon. I don't like ordering from places that leave you starving...If I had known it would take so long, I would have cooked something from scratch!

Didn't bring the full order.

Food was ok but delivery presentation was bad. I got my two orders of pasta crushed and wet in the bag because they didnt put a cardboard or something in between them. I also ordered a soup which leaked all over the bag because they put it in the bottom with a whole bunch of sandwiches on top of it. Also long wait for delivery. It takes usually 1h and a 1/2 for food to come. So take that in mind when ordering.

Sandwiches: great. Delivery time: the worst.

Every time I order from here, they call me to say they don't actually have what I ordered. Delivery is also slow.

estimated time was 30-45min - it has been almost 2 hours and still no food - i called the restaurant but the person that answered the phone said the manager was too busy to get on the phone - very unacceptable

It actually came on time but was nothing to be excited about. The chicken cutlet sandwich was OK. Paid extra for fresh mozzarella and arugula and got the thinnest slice of cheese along with romaine lettuce. The small fruit salad for $3 is a joke! MAYBE 1 slice of cantaloupe and honeydew cut in cubs with literally 1 strawberry and a quarter of an orange. Only really good thing was the semolina bread.

Poor service, wrong sandwich, and took over an hour and 20 min

The food itself isn't bad, IF YOU EVER GET IT THAT IS! I have ordered here a few times now via group order due to be delivered by noon. I have yet to receive my lunch before 1:30. Crazy how they get away with this, if selected as a choice again, i will not be ordering from them.

Ordered from here twice. Each time it took over an hour and a half for food to arrive. Neither me or my coworkers will ever order from here again.

Supreme sub and penne a la vodka are both fantastic choices. You will not be disappointed!

Ordered at 10:45, called at 11:55 said it's on its way, 12:20 and it's still not here.

I love this place! The sandwiches here alway taste fresh and delicious!

The food was of reasonable quality, but the sandwiches were small and it took 2 sandwiches to make a full lunch.

I ordered the eggplant parm and the rollatini. Fabulous. The side of pasta, fabulous on its own. It will be my new favorite go to!

The food was excellent! ordered turkey sandwich and turkey avocado wrap. The meat was fresh and there was plenty of it! ordered extra sauce on the sandwich and the edges were a little soggy, but it was really good. Est delivery was 60+min, ordered at 1pm, it took 45 min. Not too bad in my opinion.

Incredibly slow service. Was listed as 15-30 minutes, and took well over an hour for the food to arrive. Don't believe the estimated time!!!

Food was decent - delivery time way too long. We called and we were also told that they were bombarded with orders all at once. Had it been delivered in a timely fashion - I'd order again.

Worst delivery ever. Waited 2 hrs the first time ordering. Tried once more figuring it was a one-off- I was absolutely wrong. Happened again and called the cafe to be told "we received all the orders at once" - no apology....no customer service. Only order from here if you like to eat cold food 3 hrs later.

great group, food is always good and they are incredibly nice.

Just had their roast beef with mozzarella and gravy on garlic bread and it was the best manhattan sandwich ever!!! Cant wait to order again!!! Wouldve loved it if the delivery guy had ID as I requested so that I didnt have to interrupt a call to get my lunch downstairs in the lobby....if it were not for delivery would have given them 5 STARS

Used to be ok...when it was a "Deli". It took almost 2 hours to get our food. We called and was told the health inspector was there and they needed to focus their attention to him...not my chicken sandwich.

great people, great sandwiches

Dominic's is great for lunch! They have fantastic sandwiches, and the staff is always very friendly and quick. The smoked turkey and brie panini is the best, and basically any of the tomato, mozzarella, and vegetable combos are great. They also have a pretty wonderful selection of Italian meats, which isn't always easy to find. The delivery is quick, so the food is always hot. Great place!

Best Italian Deli in the midtown area. Their Dante Inferno Sandwich is delicious and the salad they put on it really compliments the meal. Hope they re-open soon

Ordered ham sandwich with Capicola Ham, and they gave me regular ham. Still a decent sandwich, but I was really in the mood for Capicola.
